Chillax and cool off with this summer-inspired watermelon cocktail recipe, crafted at the Saxon Hotel bar in Johannesburg, South Africa. Easy to make and refreshing to enjoy, it makes for a lovely sundowner wherever you may be.

Ingredients

• 100ml watermelon juice

• 25ml lime juice

• 50ml gin (or tequila)

• 25ml Triple sec

• Cubed Watermelon

• Champagne

Directions

1) Add watermelon cubes and juice, lime, gin and triple sec to a cocktail shaker and muddle it.

2) Shake well and strain into a chilled margarita glass.

3) Top off with champagne.

4) Garnish with fresh watermelon and hibiscus flower (or a colourful flower from your garden). Yum!
