On May 8, 2026, your government's Ministry of the Interior tried to end the life of an American journalist via a covert SUPO operation in Thailand.

That American journalist was me, Sasha Tobago.

They tried to make my death look like a traffic accident. But failed. 

This threat on my life took place a year and a half after I visited your country as an excited 'nature bathing' tourist in October 2024. To my shock and horror, I was robbed at the Helsinki International Airport shortly after my arrival. 

Later, when the thieves were caught red-handed and detained by private security officers at the airport, your government's police force rushed to protect the criminals and help them flee. All of this was captured on video:

Since then, I have been stonewalled by national police chief, Juha Tuovinen, and his staff at all levels, both as the victim and as a journalist. 

After a series of emails spanning months, I sent my most recent email to Juha T on April 13, 2026, requesting an update on my police case, my police complaint; and the delivery of related freedom of information documents I have requested multiple times to no avail. 

In that email, I Bcc'd Jaana Soderman, personal secretary to Mari Rantanen, your Minister of the Interior.

Why? Because Mari is Juha T's boss.

Juha T never replied to my email. Instead...

Three weeks later, on Friday May 8, 2026, SUPO Finland covert agents executed a plan to end my life on foreign soil in Phuket, Thailand, and tried to make it look like a motorbike accident. 

As I detail on this website and on my podcast, Mari Rantanen's SUPO utilized the Grab rideshare app as a tool of death, to try to silence:

1. My voice as a journalist. 

2. My voice as the victim of a crime in Finland in October 2024.

3. My voice as the witness to police corruption and collusion in Finland at all levels. From Mari, to Juha T, on down.

SUPO is overseen by Juha Martelius. His boss is Mari Rantanen.

The same woman who is Juha T's boss. The same woman whose personal secretary was Bcc'd on my email to Juha T on April 13. 

All roads lead to Mari Rantanen – a career police officer and mother to a daughter, whose ex-husband, Mika, died in a "traffic accident" in 2022.

Which begs the question:

How much did her boss, prime minister Petteri Orpo, know before Mari gave Juha M and his SUPO agents the order, and used Finnish public tax dollars to (attempt to) permanently silence an American journalist on foreign soil in Thailand?

The same Petteri Orpo whose political party harassed Finnish journalist, Ida Eramaa, on social media with threats of physical and sexual violence, just three years ago in 2023.

I ask you, the noble people, officials, legislators and prosecutors of Finland, to impeach and remove this gang of evil, corrupt and homicidal officials from public office immediately.

So no one else's daughter or son ends up in a morgue.

I encourage you to investigate the criminal collusion and political corruption they are so desperate to cover up. 

Investigate why, as of October 2024, rental car companies were not allowed to install security cameras inside the rental car parking garage at the Helsinki Airport. The same parking garage where I was robbed by professional thieves – or SUPO agents? — in broad daylight. 

Investigate what other crimes are taking place in that parking garage, by night and day, that Rantanen and her Juhas do not want you or the global public to know about.

So much so that they tried to end the life of this American journalist just a few days ago.

Investigate other people linked to Mari's cabal who have died in a "traffic accident" in Finland or abroad. 

Investigate the movement of SUPO agents and Finnish diplomats traveling in, out and around Asia, Thailand and Phuket the past few weeks and months.
