Monet & His Muse

All my money goes into my garden.

~ Claude Monet

Master Impressionism painter, Claude Monet, in his home garden in Giverny, France, 1926.

The garden was – and still is – lovely and extensive, replete with a pond, bridge and floral canopies.

Altogether, it was a botanical muse that inspired a great many of Monet's masterpieces, for four prolific decades.
